Students Dress Up for Halloween

This is Halloween! Abigail Nguyen, Amen Moreda, and Leah Ghebrelul dress up for library contest. They portrayed characters from the Diary of a Wimpy Kid movie. “This wig is nappy,” Ghebrelul said.

Paula Murray, the Librarian, hosted the annual Halloween costume competition on Thursday, October 31st. During advisory every student who dressed up headed towards the front of the school to showcase their outfits. Later in the afternoon, Murray posted a poll of the top outfits on Schoology so that students can decide the winner. Before advisory ended, all students posed on the stairwell for STUCO’s Instagram photo.

Last Piece Of Advice: Mentees and Mentors huddle together one last time before the school year ends. Mentors and Counselor Jacob Lazarou share as much advice as they can, answering all questions from mentees about school work, teachers, and courses. "Thank you mentors for all that you do," Lazarou said.
NTLB Shares Advice
Yummy in my tummy! Oluwakibati Ogundimu helps herself to candy from the bucket gifted by NTLB. She hands out candy to celebrate the final mixer of the school year. "I’m grabbing some for my group as well," Ogundimu said.
NTLB Hosts Their Last Mixer
DUO! Thinh Ha and Lincoln Nguyen teamed up for the tennis tournament and triumphed in a thrilling 9-7 match to advance to the semifinals. The duo was pumped up and ready to take on their next challenge in the tournament."WOO! That was so much fun," Ha said.
Tennis Club Hosts Tournament
Engaged in discussion: NTLB Sponsor Jacob Lazarou and Vice President Sarah Abi Saab discuss over some ideas. Since most of the current officers are leaving, they are trying to plan for a smooth transition next year. "I think this will really help the incoming officers next year," Lazarou said.
