Pink lemonade! Aidan Le gives pink lemonade to Ava Drummond during lunch. The lemonade stand was free of charge to all students but donations were strongly encouraged. “It’s a fun way to raise money for an important cause, I donated three dollars,” Drummond said.
On October 4th, STUCO showed their support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month by serving Pink Lemonade. While the lemonade was free, they were still able to collect an abundant amount of donations. They even matched an extra $50 to go to the National Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation. STUCO’s executive board, TASK, also surprised Ms. Harrison, the AP English 4 teacher and a survivor of breast cancer with a gift basket.
