On Tuesday, September 24, FEMS in STEM held its first general meeting in the biology lab upstairs after school. After warming up the room with some engaging icebreakers (such as “Find-Someone-Who” Bingo), the officer team presented a slideshow with club goals and volunteering events for the year. To end the meeting on a high note, the club held a science trivia tournament with the chance of winning a free customized pink hoodie. After going through a competitive bracket, the winner of the customized hoodie was freshman Sophia Nguyen.
