Science National Honor Society Hosts General Meeting

Taking A Closer Look: Science National Honor Society members look at pond water under a microscope. Vice-President Alisha Rahman helps members adjust the microscope to clarify what they are supposed to look at. “The general meeting went smoother than I thought and it was fun helping new members,” Rahman said.

Science National Honor Society hosted a general meeting on September 17th in the biology lab after school. The meeting was held to look at various things under the microscope. Samples of pond water, hair, mammal skeletal muscle, and blood were all available for members to look at. The officers also reviewed upcoming events and provided help where it was needed.

DUO! Thinh Ha and Lincoln Nguyen teamed up for the tennis tournament and triumphed in a thrilling 9-7 match to advance to the semifinals. The duo was pumped up and ready to take on their next challenge in the tournament."WOO! That was so much fun," Ha said.
Tennis Club Hosts Tournament
Engaged in discussion: NTLB Sponsor Jacob Lazarou and Vice President Sarah Abi Saab discuss over some ideas. Since most of the current officers are leaving, they are trying to plan for a smooth transition next year. "I think this will really help the incoming officers next year," Lazarou said.
NTLB Hosts Officer Meeting
Busy at Work: Executive board members Marcos Coronado and Giao Tran cut paper for the monthly birthday poster. STUCO members can earn points by helping them decorate the poster. "I'm glad there's so many hands to help us out," Coronado said.
