Crafting Dots! Tania Molina, Ashley Chavez Carrillo, and Sharon Piedrasanta cut out colorful dots and write one word on it. Molina went with the color pink and wrote “believe” on it to incorporate dreaming big in a sense. “I absolutely adore this club and I’m sad to leave it as I am graduating early,” Molina said.
National Art Honor Society held its first meeting after school on Tuesday, September 10, in the 2D art room. The classroom was filled with eager artists who gathered to learn more about how the club has changed since the old sponsor had retired. They introduced the newest officers, cord and leatherman jacket requirements, and volunteering opportunities. They also did an activity that ties into Happy Dot Day, which got the room excited especially after watching what Dot Day was all about.
