Kerr Choir Hosting Pop Show

Popping the Annual Show. Kerr Choir Pop show will be hosted in the theater with members participating for guests to come. Students and family are welcome to join.

Kerr Choir is hosting their annual pop show on May 10th, starting from 6 P.M. Presale tickets are sold during both A and B lunch with the options to buy them in 4th period in the choir room also. The price of presale tickets are 3 dollars, increasing to 5 dollars on the day of the show. “Get ready to vibe along and enjoy the show,” Kerr Choir Official Instagram said.

The cafeteria was cleared out, and the tables were arranged in a “U” shape to create a space for everyone to socialize. “It was a bit difficult setting everything up during fourth period, but we managed to finish in time,” Desi Club president Meerab Arif said.

Geared Up: News reporter Brooke Kushwaha interviews Senior Iqra Naveed. Kushwaha asks questions about Naveed’s college application and what she is deciding to do after high school. “I wasn’t expecting anyone to interview me at the event, but it was fun,” Naveed said.
Alief Hosts Horus Scholars Event
Tracking Volunteer Contributions: Members review their tutoring documentation during the November 13th advisory meeting. The club discussed upcoming competitions, including the Texas Math League and Mu Alpha Theta, while reinforcing the importance of mentoring and volunteer hours. Members are required to log weekly tutoring sessions to maintain active status in the club. “This helps us track our hours and stay committed," Princess Eche said.
Math Club Prepares for Competitions
Perfecting the Notes: Clarinet players Ifetayo Taiwo and Taylor Nguyen practice ahead of their Honor Band auditions. They dedicated hours of preparation on their clarinet pieces to ensure their performances stood out. “It’s an intense process, but I think it’s worth it to make it,” Taiwo said.
