On April 30, the Kerr Orchestra hosted its last concert of the year, full of joy, happiness, and music. This is going to be their last concert to close out this school year of 2023-2024. The students performed a variety of pieces, showcasing their talent and hard work throughout the year. During this special night, Tony Luong has a chance to conduct for the first time. “I love being on stage. The lights, the adrenaline, and the music. Everything just felt like it came together last night, especially Bryan’s piece. As a conductor, I’m sort of like a guide to the music, sharing my musical expertise and hoping that the musicians truly “feel” the music,” Luong said. Overall, it was a successful concert to close out the year, where families and friends at Kerr had a chance to enjoy the last piece of music before this school year is over.
