Following hard sectional training, the band gathered for a full ensemble session, where they improved their synchronization and togetherness as a whole. "Getting that time to work together as a whole really helps us bond and perform at our best," Raiyyan Khan said.
On April 16, the Kerr High School marching band attended sectional rehearsals to focus on individual growth for the upcoming marching season. The idea was for the band’s many components to work autonomously, resolving any issues and pushing their performance to new heights. This focused time for each section allows students to perfect their parts and provides a solid basis for when they perform as a full ensemble. With the parade approaching, the band is wasting no time in preparing for it with hard sectional sessions.
