MSA Announces Return of MSA Merch

‘MSA MERCH’: A post made by the MSA. and a flyer with information about the association’s merch attached.

The meeting for MSA that was expected to happen on October 2 has been cancelled and is to be moved to a later date.

The Muslim Student Association announces the return of their club merch. Students are urged to fill out a form to purchase a sweatshirt if they are interested in one even if they are not in the association. The MSA announced that the merch will be available soon and that the form will close on October 4.

The cafeteria was cleared out, and the tables were arranged in a “U” shape to create a space for everyone to socialize. “It was a bit difficult setting everything up during fourth period, but we managed to finish in time,” Desi Club president Meerab Arif said.

Alief Hosts Horus Scholars Event
Tracking Volunteer Contributions: Members review their tutoring documentation during the November 13th advisory meeting. The club discussed upcoming competitions, including the Texas Math League and Mu Alpha Theta, while reinforcing the importance of mentoring and volunteer hours. Members are required to log weekly tutoring sessions to maintain active status in the club. “This helps us track our hours and stay committed," Princess Eche said.

Perfecting the Notes: Clarinet players Ifetayo Taiwo and Taylor Nguyen practice ahead of their Honor Band auditions. They dedicated hours of preparation on their clarinet pieces to ensure their performances stood out. “It’s an intense process, but I think it’s worth it to make it,” Taiwo said.
