Upcoming College Night Oct. 12

Alief ISD will host College Night at Taylor High School on October 12, 2023 at 6-8 PM. Many representatives from four-year or community colleges, military academies, and preparatory institutes will provide information to students and families about what they have to offer.

Organizers invite students to participate as they will provide them with the opportunity to achieve a successful future.

It’s time for a mid-knight snack! Freshman Trang Trinh cheers for football team with poster. It was Trinh’s first Kerr football game. “I knew Kerr was going to win from the start,” Trinh said.

Staying Focused: Students played a game of "Leading the Blind." A player was blindfolded and was led by another student around the room to demonstrate leadership and trust. "Make sure to lead with responsibility," Principal Sara Tones said.
Administration Hosts Leadership Lunch
Bring Your Money! Staff from Dilly Letter Jackets who are also in charge of caps and gowns were at both lunches to take orders. Students were encouraged to purchase during lunches as they are only there for two days to waive the shipping and handling fee. "We accept all forms of payments," a staff said.
Taking Cap and Gown Orders
STUCO's honorary post for Veteran's Day. To motivate more students to participate, students are granted one point for participation and two points for posting.
