Shadrack Akinkunmi is a sophomore
Question: What classes are you taking?
Answer: I am taking Orchestra, AAC Chemistry, Jazz Band, Study Hall, and AAC English.
Q: Do you have any goals this school year?
A: I want to create a schedule for myself and be more organized.
Q: Are you stressed with your classes?
A: Auditions for Jazz Band and Orchestra are a little stressful. I play well on my own but having to play in front of people spikes my anxiety a bit but succeeding at a piece in front of others makes me happy.
Q: What is your favorite thing about Kerr?
A: I like the entire atmosphere of the school. The lack of major fights and the combination of everyone being calm and accommodating makes me happy. Also, we have nice practice rooms.
Q: What do you do in your free time?
A: I practice a lot. I also love to cook, bake and make art when I have time.
Q: Are you in any clubs?
A: Yes, I am in Kerr photosynthesizers and speech and debate.
Q: What is your favorite food?
A: I don’t have one because there is no food that I dislike. I’m open to trying every and any one available.
Q: What do you want to do this summer?
A: I want to do music and art studies, grow plants, work out, and also meal plan and make schedules for next school year.
Q: If you were stuck on an island and could only bring one item, what item would you bring?
A: I would bring my bass (in its case of course with music) so I could compose while I decompose.
Q: What is your favorite class?
A: All arts classes whether fine arts or literary arts, art classes just speak to me.
