Lifeguarding Opportunities for the Upcoming Swim Season

The Houston Parks and Recreation Department is on the lookout for people with excellent swimming skills. The requirement to apply is to be at least 16 years old. However, to get hired, applicants will need to pass the swim evaluation. This evaluation includes but is not limited to retrieving a 10-pound brick, swimming 20 years with bricks, and treading water for two minutes without the use of hands. The last date to apply for this opportunity is May 13, 2023.
