Zain Rehman is currently a junior attending Kerr High School.
Question: What is the worst aspect of growing older?
Answer: Having to slowly realize how many responsibilities you have and having them piling on you.
Q: What does a self-care day look like for you?
A: For me, a self-care day involves spending quality time with loved ones and getting plenty of rest.
Q: When did you feel the proudest of yourself?
A: I felt the proudest of myself when I completed building my first Minecraft base.
Q: What are your top 3 priorities?
A: My top three priorities are family, academics, and making the most of life.
Q: What’s something you can talk about for hours?
A: I could talk for hours about comic books and superhero movies or TV shows.
Q: Is there a quote you live by?
A: The quote I live by is: “It is possible to commit no mistakes and still lose. That is not a weakness. That is life” and “And now that you don’t have to be perfect, you can be good.”
Q: What do you stress about the most?
A: The future is something that I stress about the most, though I don’t tend to stress much overall.
Q: What advice would you give to your younger self?
A: If I could advise my younger self, it would be to not worry excessively about things.
Q: What is something controversial that you agree with?
A: I agree that paper straws are not a suitable replacement as they tend to become flimsy and ruin drinks after a short time.
Q: If you could go back in time and go to any other school, would you still choose to come to Kerr?
A: While I do not regret my time at Kerr and appreciated all that I learned, the school wouldn’t be my top choice if I had the chance to go back in time.
