Gutierrez Wins Photo Award
Juan gutierrez’s entry in the category “Glamor” earned honorable mention.
Senior Juan Gutierrez earned honorable mention in the Digital Image competition at the Association of Texas Photography Instructors Winter Conference Feb. 24-25. The annual conference took place at the University of Texas at Arlington campus.
Teacher Laura Negri won honorable mention in faculty Environmental Self-Portrait.
Gutierrez received four categories in the Digital Image contest and had 60 minutes to shoot one photo on the UTA campus to enter in each category. After the contest, he attended workshops on photography topics and skills, including wet-plate processes.
Negri taught a workshop on Pinholde Photography.
