Counselors Ramp Up Conferences

This week for the counselors, junior conferences are going on to make next year’s plans. On Thursday, February 2, will be course selection night, where both Denae Aquil and Sherry Iyamu presented about courses available. Family and students of all grade levels were invited to join the course selection night. Counselors met with Alief’s new mental health facilitator as well as met with Tina Nguyen, who had won the mental health scholarship. Both counselors are still in the planning stages with Nguyen about the mental health project.
