Special Agent Julio Martinez visited Kerr Jan. 17 to share information and scholarship opportunities regarding the U.S. Department of State. He opens up with what federal agents do: protecting, saving, and investigating lives. There are many benefits when working with the State Department: medical aid, education aid, guarantees of jobs, networking programs, mentorships, etc. Martinez shares that working with the State Department is “a lifestyle that has a lot of variety and change.” He believes that the most rewarding part of his job is being able to help people and seeing the change.
