Administrators Discuss Grades and Applications
Save the Date, The Schools of Choice flyer outlines the upcoming events related to the school students are interested in attending. Applications were open since Wednesday, January 4th, and prospective student night is coming up all of next week, Monday, January 23rd. “Do you know someone that would make a great Kerr Tiger? Applications for next school year are now open on the Alief website. The priority application window is open from today until February 28th,” said Assistant Principal, Sara Tones.
Applications for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year are open for incoming students who want to join the Kerr Family. For the rest of the week, Tuesday, January 17th, Principal Vinson Lewis and Assistant Principal Sara Tones are helping middle schools with transitioning by answering questions about Kerr or the process, troubleshooting applications, and giving the middle school staff information to share with their students. A prospective student night will be coming up on Monday, January 23rd, from 6 pm to 7 pm.
Administrators are also reviewing 1st-semester grades this week, Tuesday, January 17th. Parent conferences are made by appointment for students whose grades need to be discussed.
