Winslow Named Teacher of the Year

Choir teacher, Vanessa Winslow was named Kerr’s Teacher of the Year today, January 13. Staff members nominated two candidates, Winslow, and art teacher Janine Dykes. The announcement for teacher of the year happened during third period when Winslow was teaching her class.
She advances to be considered for Alief’s Teacher of the Year title later in spring.
