STUCO Raises Awareness for Events
The Student Council created two banners raising awareness for National Blood Donor month and National Human Trafficking Awareness day. The two banners were put up near the main staircase on January 10. Members can earn points by writing facts on the banners.
Additionally, on January 6, the Student Council began taking donations for lollipops and ring pops to give to teachers. Donations for the lollipops end on January 13. Their slogan was “Start the year with a pop!” to help teachers get back into the hang of things after returning from the winter break. They plan on handing out these lollipops along with notes to all teachers and staff.
Your donation empowers the student journalists of Alief Kerr High School. With your help, we can continue producing meaningful stories and quality content just like this. Every contribution goes toward purchasing essential equipment and covering our annual website hosting fees.
