Safraz Ali is a ninth-grade teacher in the English department
Question: What is your favorite sport?
Answer: Soccer for sure, I have grown up playing and watching soccer. In fact, I am the sponsor for the soccer club here at Kerr High School
Q: Why did you want to be a teacher at Kerr?
A: Honestly I wanted an easier teaching environment, one that was easier than O’Donnell Middle School. Plus I knew a lot of students who I taught at O’Donnell who also is a reason I came here.
Q: What is something new you have learned at Kerr?
A: I have learned that I really don’t have to teach, I can just sit and watch the students do their assignments all by themselves.
Q: What is one thing you can’t live without?
A: Definitely my phone, it provides me with news, and it’s basically my wallet so I have to have my phone at all times.
Q: What is your favorite genre to write about?
A: Folktale, because they pass on particular moral lessons that we can learn from.
Q: What is something that students may not know about you?
A: I am a big crypto person and I actively invest money, making sure that I have money for centuries to come.
Q: What is a superpower you wish to have?
A: Time bending so that I could get things done in a super-efficient fashion.
Q: If you could move anywhere, where would you move?
A: Hawaii, because of the constant sunshine, low humidity, and picturesque beaches.
Q: Whats your biggest regret?
A: Not teaching at Kerr earlier.
Q: Whats and interesting thing about Kerr?
A: Even though its a high school, Kerr functions like a college.
