MSA Decorates Toy Drive Boxes

MSA members Urooj Hashmi and other ladies members praying together one last time before Thanksgiving break. This meeting was a ladies get together since all the male members had other obligations. Also, MSA plans to make more social media posts as well as handmade posters in the next meeting on November 28. “I think right now since we are so close to Thanksgiving, we can wait for the break to be over before we start really emphasizing the toy drive,” Hashmi said.

Muslim Students’ Association had a great last meeting before the Thanksgiving break where they were able to complete the toy drive boxes. Four boxes were decorated and put outside centers for students to start donating. Members titled and drew cute animals on the boxes, while the officers went to the centers to ask the teachers if they would offer extra credit to students who donated. The English center has already confirmed that they will be giving extra credit to students who donate as long as they have proof. The toy drive will be extended til December 15 and MSA plans to make a push for donations after the break.
