On November 14, Jacob Rascon of ABC 13 spoke to speech and journalism students from multiple Alief high schools, including the International Academy, about being engaged in learning other people’s perspectives as they learn about the world through media at Elsik High School. Students could learn about Rascon’s travels and work experiences and were encouraged to ask questions.
