Young Biologists Offer Opportunities For Science Students
As students take more advanced science courses, they will eventually be met with lab experiments that prove to be either too complex or too difficult for them. A remedy to this problem is the Young Biologist Program in the science center on Oct. 29, 2022, in which students of all grade levels can participate. By attending this program, students can gain more experience with lab activities as they perform microbiology labs at college levels, ranging from sophomore to junior levels. In addition, the program provides common lab activities that can hone students’ analytical skills, expertise with lab equipment, and overall confidence and comfortability with experiments. The best part is that students do not need any background knowledge to attend the program as it only requires their interest and desire to learn, making it accessible to all kinds of students. Another information to note is that the program will run on the last Saturday of every month from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Interested students can obtain more information on the program by visiting teacher Ben Khoo in the science center.
