STUCO Holds Rush Meeting

On August 30, the Student Council held its first RUSH meeting in the cafeteria. During the meeting, they went over topics including new officers, executive board applications, committees, point sheets, and future events. Students participated in multiple ice breakers such as the traditional balloon pop game, sharks and minnows, red light green light, musical chairs, the digging game, and Simon says. Towards the end of the meeting, the officers handed out their first official point sheets to everyone.
The officers also put up a STUCO banner on the wall near the nurse’s office. The banner was decorated in an “Alice in Wonderland” theme and had pictures of all the officers(Tiana Nguyen, Chelsea Phan, Thy Tran, Minh Tran, Jason Tran, Isabella Le) as well as the sponsor, Mr. Garcia.
