Last Friday, May 6, Student Council hosted the end of the year banquet. Officers and EBs met up at Shabu Zone at 5:00 PM for their reservation. They ate for two hours, then did their announcement ceremony for the new officers outside at the gazebo.

The new officers for the 2022-2023 school year are President: Tiana Nguyen, Vice President: Chelsea Phan, Secretary: Thy Tran, Treasurer: Minh Tran, Parliamentarian: Isabella Le, and Historian: Jason Tran.

During the ceremony, the old officers started a new tradition of sash passing. At the end of every year during the banquet, officers of the current year will pass down the sash to the new officer of their position. The current officer will sign their name as well as the year that they served before putting it on the new officer.

On Monday, May 9, Ebs started staying after school to work on Class Wars decorations. They finished the class banners and are working on completing the spirit week backdrops.

On Tuesday, May 10, STUCO released the roster for all of the Class Wars games. STUCO also posted the Cultural Appreciation Week that they partened up with Kerr Desi Club for.

Today, Wednesday, May 11, STUCO posted the dress-up days that they had planned for the Class Wars spirit week.
