STUCO Starts Officer Takeover
Treasurer, Daniella Do, jumps into the trashcan so that she can push down the trash that they cleaned out of the STUCO closet.
Starting on April 1, the student council officers implemented a new tradition. They would take the month before officer interviews for the next year to train current EBs that are interested in applying to become an officer. Each EB would state their first and second preferred position and then the current officer would teach them how to do the duties. The EBs partaking in Officer Takeover are to act as officers, while the current officers just watch over them.
Thursday morning, the officers also cleaned out the STUCO closet, so that it could be more organized for other organizations to use.
There will also be an Officer Takeover meeting after school on Friday so that the current President, Tiffany Huynh, and Vice President, Vivian Le, can track the progress and answer any questions.
