Regional Choir Clinic Nov. 13
The regional choir will perform at a concert at 3 pm on Saturday, November 13, at Westbury Baptist Church.
“Singing in the Region Choir Clinic Concert is earned by advancing through the All State Choir Process,” choir director Vanessa Winslow said.
“We have four students who made a choir. We are also bringing an additional eight students who we auditioned for the Honor Choir.”
To be in the regional choir, students have worked on nine pieces of music and have been judged on their musicality and musicianship. The audition process is individual in nature but is used to become a member of a region choir, and students from any Kerr Choir ensemble can audition.
“Our region is very competitive including Alief, HISD and Katy ISD schools,” Winslow said.
