The Business Center has a new counter clerk. Jerry Jackson heard about the opening from a relative that used to work in Alief.
“I used to work as an event coordinator at Main Event before I came here. I’ve also worked for Chick-fil-A, I heard a lot Alief students. The district sounded like it is involved with their kids,” Jackson said. “Seeing all this, I wanted to be a part of Alief, because I like working with kids.”
Jackson fits right in the business center.
“I like how business is taught here. It prepares the students to how working in the business industry is actually is,” Jackson said. “I am pursuing a degree in Business Administration, myself.”
This is Jackson’s second week as the new counter clerk, and he will continue learning about how the Kerr system works.
