Meet Rae Carson on Sept. 23 at Hastings

The author of the Girl of Fire and Thorns trilogy, Rae Carson, will be promoting her new book, Walk on Earth a Stranger on September 23 at Hastings High School.

Rooted in Giving: Harris County Commissioner Lesley Briones along with others held a ceremony to recognize the Alief Super Neighborhood Council and Barbara Quattro. Their projects had helped improve the environment. "We are grateful for you," Briones said.

In formation! Vanna Do, Haley Ngo, Brittanee Giang, Cindy Pham, and Eliana Dinh practice dance routine. Do led the group, staying in sync with the music. "I started to get the hang of it as we went along," Do said.
