Dwight Howard’s D12 Foundation is hosting a “Block Out Violence” program, a student-driven competition that encourages non-violence, anti-bullying, respect, and a safe community.
The high school that has the most participation will be named the “D12 Block Out Violence School” and will win a “Block Party” hosted by Dwight Howard himself.
In order to participate, students must produce positive messaging through all forms social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.) using the hashtag #BOVKerr. Messages must promote non-violence, tolerance, acceptance. These can also address anti-bullying and cyberbullying. Posts that are entered can also be photos.
