STUCO needs volunteers

January 23, 2014

Student Council will be volunteering at the Alief Nature Center on Saturday, January 25, from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM.

All students are welcome to volunteer, but must sign up. Students may sign up with NEED Committee Chairpersons Nancy Pham and Natalie Sin.

Students who are volunteering should wear comfortable clothing. On the day of the event, students must sign in with one of the NEED Committee Chairpersons in order to receive credit.

The Alief Nature Center is located across from Youngblood Intermediate.

SNHS Hosts Last General Meeting
Pose for the camera! Beyonce Vallecillo takes post-prom photos at City Center. She chose the rooftop as a scenic backdrop to capture lasting prom memories. “I had so much fun getting ready and taking prom pictures,” Vallecillo said.
Students Celebrate Prom Night
Stay on the know: Officers Helin Wang and Regina Tan gave out cords to seniors who qualified for a graduation cord. There were changes made to the cord requirements, with less activities required. "Make sure to wear it at graduation," Wang said.
SFH Hosts Last Meeting
Reaching Out Class Officer candidates create Instagram posts the week before elections to gain votes. With many students running this year, elections have been very competitive. "Keep pushing forward, even if it takes one, two, or three attempts," junior candidate Sean McClain said. "That way, even if you’ve lost, you can take pride in knowing you truly gave it your all."
