Students throughout Alief ISD will have a full school day Wednesday, April 25, due to TAKS testing. The school day will end at 2:20 PM at Kerr as Early Release has been cancelled.

The test schedule also creates other changes for the week.

• On Tuesday, April 24, sophomores will take the Math TAKS test. All other students will follow a normal schedule.
• On Wednesday, juniors will take the Math TAKS test. All other students will follow a normal, full-day schedule.
• On Thursday, April 26, sophomores and juniors will take the Science TAKS test. Freshmen will have study hall. Seniors will have late arrival at 10 AM.
• On Friday, April 27, sophomores and juniors will take the Social Studies TAKS test. Freshmen will have study hall. Seniors will have late arrival at 10 AM.

Students should check with their advisors or watch the scrolling announcements on campus for room assignments and other changes.

Early Release is also cancelled on Wednesday, May 9, and Wednesday, May 16, due to STAAR testing within the school district.
