Student Council collecting Pennies for Patients

February 14, 2012

On Tuesday, February 14 to Tuesday, March 6, Student Council will be collecting coin change during all lunches for Pennies for Patients.

Pennies for Patients is a program that benefits The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The money is spent on patients, community services, research, public health, and professional education.

Money collected will be divided up by classes and the class that collects the most money will be rewarded points for class wars later on in the year.

SNHS Hosts Last General Meeting
Pose for the camera! Beyonce Vallecillo takes post-prom photos at City Center. She chose the rooftop as a scenic backdrop to capture lasting prom memories. “I had so much fun getting ready and taking prom pictures,” Vallecillo said.
Students Celebrate Prom Night
Stay on the know: Officers Helin Wang and Regina Tan gave out cords to seniors who qualified for a graduation cord. There were changes made to the cord requirements, with less activities required. "Make sure to wear it at graduation," Wang said.
SFH Hosts Last Meeting
Reaching Out Class Officer candidates create Instagram posts the week before elections to gain votes. With many students running this year, elections have been very competitive. "Keep pushing forward, even if it takes one, two, or three attempts," junior candidate Sean McClain said. "That way, even if you’ve lost, you can take pride in knowing you truly gave it your all."
