Club Feature: Table Tennis Club

Table Tennis Club combines activity and social interaction.

Table Tennis Club was founded by former social studies teacher Rick Madsen. Mr. Madsen’s purpose in starting the Table Tennis Club was to create a fun environment for all ping pong players to compete on a scale that is not intimidating. He passed away in 2014, leaving the ping pong tradition in Kerr to social studies teacher Jack Bell.

Among the team, Table Tennis Club features freeplay where members would practice and play against each other in singles or doubles.  Mini-tournaments are held as well as discussions about Olympic Table Tennis Games.

Officers are Salar Sanati (11), Giau Tran (11), and Steven Tan (11)

Table Tennis Club is currently not excepting new members because it is a small group. In the beginning of the year, new members can join (by contacting the sponsor or any officer).

Table Tennis Club meetings are monthly.
