Banned Books Week observed

September 19, 2014

Celebrate Banned Books Week with the Kerr Library.
During the week of Sept. 22-26, scan the QR codes, located on College Corner, to discover the titles of ten banned or challenged books.
Turn in the list to the library to be entered in a drawing for a free book of your choice!

Following hard sectional training, the band gathered for a full ensemble session, where they improved their synchronization and togetherness as a whole. Getting that time to work together as a whole really helps us bond and perform at our best, Raiyyan Khan said.

Voices of Alief Hosted a Meeting
Sip and Type Erica Carranza, Sarah Abi Saab, Abigail Nguyen, and Leah Ghebrelul meet up at Kims Tea House afterschool on Tuesday to prepare for a mock round on Thursday. During their time there, they researched the impacts of AI on disinformation. Im not the biggest fan of this motion, but Im still excited, Nguyen said.
