UIL Regionals held on May 3

April 29, 2014

On Saturday, May 3, the University Interscholastic League (UIL) will hold its Region III competition.

Students who qualified (placed in the top three in District) should turn in their permission slips on time. The bus will leave promptly at 6:30 AM. Those who are late will need to find their own transportation there.

Following hard sectional training, the band gathered for a full ensemble session, where they improved their synchronization and togetherness as a whole. Getting that time to work together as a whole really helps us bond and perform at our best, Raiyyan Khan said.

Voices of Alief Hosted a Meeting
Sip and Type Erica Carranza, Sarah Abi Saab, Abigail Nguyen, and Leah Ghebrelul meet up at Kims Tea House afterschool on Tuesday to prepare for a mock round on Thursday. During their time there, they researched the impacts of AI on disinformation. Im not the biggest fan of this motion, but Im still excited, Nguyen said.
