STUCO sells “farewell kisses” for seniors

Buying one of the “farewell kisses”, the student will fill out the construction paper shapes, writing the senior’s name, advisory, and a personal message.

On Wednesday, May 18, Student Council begin selling “senior good-byes” for the graduating class of 2011. 

“Well, as we all know, our seniors will be graduating on June 1st,” Student Council member, Rachel M., said. “This is just a simple way to say good-bye and we’ll miss you.” 

When delivered, the seniors will receive a small bag of Hershey’s kisses.

These are available to buy from any Student Council member for .50¢.

Following hard sectional training, the band gathered for a full ensemble session, where they improved their synchronization and togetherness as a whole. Getting that time to work together as a whole really helps us bond and perform at our best, Raiyyan Khan said.

Voices of Alief Hosted a Meeting
Sip and Type Erica Carranza, Sarah Abi Saab, Abigail Nguyen, and Leah Ghebrelul meet up at Kims Tea House afterschool on Tuesday to prepare for a mock round on Thursday. During their time there, they researched the impacts of AI on disinformation. Im not the biggest fan of this motion, but Im still excited, Nguyen said.
